A BIG THANK YOU TO BEAVERBROOKS CHARITABLE TRUST

Blackpool Music School would like to thank Beaverbrooks Charitable Trust for the generous donation of music books this week. They kindly supplied an assortment of music books in varying genres for our students to use. As we have students from age 7 to 97 some prefer the traditional sheet music rather than the online option.

Beaverbrooks have supported us for a couple of years now with the wonderful vocalist Nicholas Whiteside doing performances for many of our events, the staff helping to decorate our drum room, holding fundraising events to raise money for students to be able to attend affordable music lessons and take grading. They have helped sell raffle tickets during our fund raising events, provided raffle gifts and now one of their staff Lizzie Barrow is running the London Marathon to honor her grandad who recently had a stroke and has been through a tough time. He is a local musician in The Fylde Coast Jazzmen and appeared on Opportunity Knocks, he asked for the donations to be given to the music school as he knows how much music can have an impact on peoples' lives. The funds raised are so generously being donated to Blackpool Music School. We honestly thank you so much!
